When Opportunity Knocks, Let It In!

When I first started at PRIER 7 years ago, I had no idea that I would be where I am today. In 2007, I was looking for employment, submitting application after application with no luck. My financial situation was becoming more and more stressful and I was not sure what I was going to do. I did know, however, that I could not stop searching and applying.

Becoming All You Are Meant To Be

One of PRIER’s objectives cited in our Mission Statement is “to help all partners become all they are meant to be, both inside and outside of PRIER.” This is exemplified through PRIER’s tuition reimbursement program, PRIER’s volunteer opportunities and health coverage benefits to name a few. The most important thing I have learned is that you only get one chance at life, one chance to “become all you are meant to be,” so give it your best shot!

App Review: Countdown+

On a recent road-trip with my sixteen year-old to her Grandmother’s house, she told me that 45 days and 6 hours remained until we would leave on vacation. Soon thereafter, she mentioned to me that it would be 63 days until our exchange student arrived to stay and only 43 days and eight hours until my niece (her cousin) would be married.
