As 2016 comes to a close and I reflect on the great things that transpired this year, I am left with one word that describes how I truly feel: THANKFUL. I have been blessed to work with all the wonderful people associated with PRIER. My company is not only successful, but also very supportive. I work with the best in the industry!

As we are winding down 2016 here at PRIER, we are spending time evaluating ourselves and our performance. How and where do we need to improve? How did we do with our company objectives? Did we operate under the will of God? Did we help all associates become all they are meant to be, both inside and outside of PRIER? Did we provide satisfactory and rewarding work and careers to associates? Did we treat all relationships with respect and professionalism? Did we maintain "A" quality business practices in all areas, striving for excellence? Were we our customers' "best" supplier? Did we have fun and enjoy our work?

A role model is something we have all been in our lives. It is also something we have all relied on in our lives. Role models are not always people. They can be animals, fictitious characters, or even companies. Role models don’t have any specific age or credentials. It is a fascinating thing to think about. The thought of who your role model is can be humbling. Moreover is the thought of for whom you are a role model.

Here at PRIER Products, we are more than just a manufacturing facility and more than just a great team; we are a family. How is this possible you ask? Well, it certainly doesn’t happen overnight and it isn’t always quick or easy. Like any family, it takes dedication, always trying to get better and working at the relationship.

“Technology” is the buzz-word of our lives. We are reminded daily of the latest technological advances that will improve our lives and all of the reasons why we can’t live without them; from smart phones, huuuuge flat screen TV’s and cars that run solely on batteries to GPS navigation systems that have maps forever sequestered to the glove box (if they even exist). PRIER Products has accepted the challenge and the allure of technology to advance their manufacturing capabilities. In the last couple of years, the company has invested in four Computer Numeric Controlled (CNC) machine tools to manufacture their water hydrant components in-house. This enables the company to have greater control of quality, productivity and easier prototyping for development of future products.
