I have customer service in my blood – really! I started at age 10 with a paper route around my neighborhood. Ever since then I have loved helping people. I spent 20 years in the restaurant business starting out in food service and ending up managing high end restaurants; 5 years in the retail business working for Williams-Sonoma and now 5 years at PRIER Products helping people with their plumbing issues.
Customer service is an essential part of almost every business. My experience has taught me that there are a few rules to follow and if you do, the outcome will be positive for your company and your customers.
It’s time for another PRIER PRODUCT GIVEAWAY! This Friday we’ll be giving away two C-108 Hot and Cold Hydrants. This product is useful for so many applications from keeping the pooch happy with a warm bath to washing your car in cold weather. Tell us how it would be handy for you and you’ll be entered to win!

As we celebrate our country’s birthday this week, there is so much to be thankful for. We must remember our country's forefathers who penned the Declaration of Independence and provided the leadership to create this fantastic country. Let’s remember the patriots who fought in the revolutionary war and those service men and women of the present and past who have devoted their lives to protecting our country’s freedoms. This is a great holiday because there is so much to be proud of.

I was speaking with a fellow business owner the other day and she paid me a compliment that got me thinking. The compliment was, “Well Nick, you’re a lifelong learner.” I wasn’t sure what to think about it initially. I am a naturally curious person. I will definitely take the time to ask the additional question, especially if it’s something that I think is interesting or important, but I had never really considered myself a lifelong learner. I was just being myself.

Pardon the terrible pun, but there really are some interesting plumbing facts here. And while these facts may not change your life, they might just get you to the next block if you ever find yourself in the Cash Cab. Or at the very least, they should provide some random knowledge to up your points at trivia night.

This month is my ten year anniversary with PRIER. Ten years ago I was living in Kansas and working from the Grandview, Missouri office. Nine years ago my husband took a job out of state.
We were moving to Sterling Colorado, a little town on the northeastern corner. This was exciting for my husband but a little nerve-wracking for me. I really liked my job and didn’t want to leave. My husband suggested a remote office. After talking with Nick Manning, he said if we could set up a remote office and make it work, they would love to keep me working for PRIER. This was great news as I do love my job.
