As we celebrate our country’s birthday this week, there is so much to be thankful for. We must remember our country's forefathers who penned the Declaration of Independence and provided the leadership to create this fantastic country. Let’s remember the patriots who fought in the revolutionary war and those service men and women of the present and past who have devoted their lives to protecting our country’s freedoms. This is a great holiday because there is so much to be proud of.

The compliment was, “Well Nick, you’re a lifelong learner.” I wasn’t sure what to think about it initially. I am a naturally curious person. I will definitely take the time to ask the additional question, especially if it’s something that I think is interesting or important, but I had never really considered myself a lifelong learner. I was just being myself.
