App Review: Countdown+

On a recent road-trip with my sixteen year-old to her Grandmother’s house, she told me that 45 days and 6 hours remained until we would leave on vacation. Soon thereafter, she mentioned to me that it would be 63 days until our exchange student arrived to stay and only 43 days and eight hours until my niece (her cousin) would be married.

We have all heard the phrase, “you are turning into your father,” or “you are just like your mother.” However, it normally isn't the looks of the child that is being considered in these statements, rather the actions which portray him or her to be like their father or mother.

Customer Service and FIRST LEGO League

My day job at PRIER Products is Customer Service Manager. In Customer Service, we enter purchase orders while taking calls from homeowners, plumbers, contractors, sales reps and of course, our distributors. By night, I am a coach and mentor to kids in FIRST® LEGO® League.

Why Build a Culture of Giving?

As I have written in the past, PRIER’s Mission Statement is very important to me.  It is my barometer for the decision making process at PRIER.  A couple of the tenets of the Mission Statement, namely, To Operate Under The Will of God and To Treat All Relationships with Respect and Professionalism, are the reasons why PRIER decided, years ago, that as a business we would tithe, or give away 10% of our profits to worthy causes.
