Julie Henry will be responsible for  accounts receivable.  It is her job to apply cash timely, insuring accurate customer records.  Accurate customer records gives our sales team a clear picture of a customer’s standing and allows for effective cash management.

“We are very excited to have Julie round out our staff.  She hopes to put her MBA from Rockhurst University to work at PRIER and we hope that PRIER can provide her with the career path to achieve that goal,” said Cindy Coats, Controller.

Julie was born and raised in Ventura, CA and currently lives in Kansas City, MO. She transferred to Rockhurst University on a basketball scholarship in 2002 and received a second scholarship to play on the golf team.  Soon after in 2004, she graduated with BSBA in Management and was the assistant sports information director at Rockhurst while working on her MBA. On her very first Mother’s Day in 2006, she graduated with her MBA. Since graduating, she has had three additional children, four total, ages 1, 4, 8 and 10.  In her free time, Julie loves playing, cooking, sewing, dancing and watching her kids do the same.

Angie Wharton, PRIER’s new Customer Service Representative, will work in the customer service and sales department entering orders while assisting manufacturer’s representatives and customers over the phone.

“Angie came to PRIER with a great customer service background. She has a positive attitude and really cares about each person she is working with over the phone,” said National Sales Manager, Scott Livingston. “We are delighted to have her on our team.”

Angie is originally from Annapolis, Maryland and grew up on the Broadneck Peninsula. She moved to Olathe, KS in 2004 and recently celebrated her 30th wedding anniversary with her husband, Craig. Together, they have a wonderful daughter, Christen, and two loving dogs, Frito and Maggie. In her free time, Angie enjoys gardening, sewing, refinishing furniture and going to the lake. She is very excited about joining PRIER and hopes to develop a rapport with all of her customers.

“We are pleased to have Angie on board with PRIER. Angie has a great sense of humor, a positive outlook and is a very caring person,” said Customer Service Manager, Cheryl Landsman. “We are glad she has joined our PRIER family.”
