This year, the American Supply Association is holding the Network ASA 2014 event in Las Vegas from September 9th through the 11th and they are expecting a turnout that has doubled over the past four years! The organization has revamped their meetings which include more networking where manufacturers and distributors meet and exchange ideas to help one another grow. ASA does a great job of educating the industry with influential and informative speakers on business trends, economic forecasts and legislative happenings. At the meeting, ASA’s full time lobbyist, Dan Hilton, gives a review on what is going on in Washington, how it will affect our business and receives feedback on the issues we are facing. The ASA Network 2014 event gives the industry an excellent opportunity to learn what trends and legislation will impact businesses now and in the future. PRIER highly recommends attending!
When it comes to new plumbing product, the 014 ASPE Convention and Exposition has all the latest. This year, Chicago’s McCormack Place is the host of the event being held September 21st through the 23rd. This exposition is where you will find the newest plumbing and mechanical products available on the market. It is always highly attended and is a great opportunity for engineers to seek out the latest product to design plumbing systems. ASPE also offers seminars and continuing education classes, as well as a major product trade show. PRIER will be featuring our newly produced Revit Files (URL Link) that will make specifying any of our commercial valves a snap for Revit designers. PRIER will also be introducing a new Mild Climate Commercial Hydrant (PRIER Model C-632) that has been designed to install in narrow walls. This hydrant also includes 360 degree swivel inlet for easy installation. The C-632 will be featured in PRIER’s new trade show booth that best represents what PRIER has to offer in Wall, Ground and Roof Hydrants for the commercial plumbing designers. PRIER will also have some nice gifts for all the engineers who visit our booth and want to learn more.
