Scott Brady will manage the research, development and engineering of all products at PRIER. This will allow him to create new and innovative products for the marketplace, while continually improving the quality of PRIER’s existing products to benefit design engineers, distributors and contractors.
“We’ve worked with Scott for 15+ years as a consultant to PRIER. He has had a hand in most of the successful products PRIER has introduced throughout that time frame. We are excited that Scott is working directly for us. PRIER associates and manufacturer’s representatives are eager to see his impact on our business,” said Nick Manning, President.
Scott graduated from the University of Missouri – Columbia (Mizzou) with a BS in Mechanical Engineering. He brings 30 years of manufacturing experience with companies such as AT&T (Quality Engineer), Orscheln (Product Engineer), Husky Corporation (Product Engineer) and MAMTC/Missouri Enterprise (Manufacturing Consulting). Scott was born in KC and has lived here most of his life. He has a wife and four children – the oldest graduated from Notre Dame and is now in MU medical school, the second will be a math teacher from MU this May, the third is at TCU and the fourth is in high school. Scott enjoys golf, tennis, boating and scuba diving whenever time allows (which for him, is not often enough).
Greg Mertes, PRIER’s new Production Supervisor, will oversee activities in production and develop, recommend and carry out improvements for each line to maximize safety, quality and efficiency. Greg will provide leadership and direction to production associates including professional and personal development.

PRIER is very fortunate to have such an experienced professional join the manufacturing team and we are incredibly excited to realize his added value,” said Brady Poskin, Manufacturing Manager.
Greg is a central Missouri native with over 25 years’ experience managing people and projects. He has spent 9 years in the environmental industry and 16 years in the construction industry. Greg enjoys hunting and fishing with his son Jacob, bike riding with his daughter Mary (preferable the Katy Trail), playing basketball, or any sport that is in season. He also coaches youth basketball and baseball and volunteers at church and school. Ultimately, Greg’s wife, Jenny, and kids are his passion.
