The Safety Award recognizes an outstanding company for maintaining a safe and healthy working environment for manufacturers with less than 125,000 hours worked. However, the real recognition goes to PRIER’s manufacturing team, led by Brady Poskin and the safety committee. Poskin meets with his team monthly to ensure all processes create a safe and accident free working environment. The team has implemented multiple programs to ensure such environment including an Emergency Action Plan, Fire Preventions, Lock Out/Tag Out Program, Forklift Program, Respiratory Protection, Hazardous Communication and others.
“At PRIER, we have always emphasized safety first. Our associates know that while we aim to be as efficient as possible, we never sacrifice quality for productivity, and more importantly, nothing should be accomplished at the expense of safety,” stated Poskin.
