This year we will race go carts in January, go bowling in February, attend a Royals baseball game in June (GO Royals!) and play golf in September. In August we will have our annual PRIER picnic which is completely funded by PRIER and something all employees look forward to every year. In April we will celebrate National Coffee Cake Day, in May it is all about National Chocolate Chip Day and on July 20th we will all scream for National Ice Cream Day! We had a lot of interesting holidays to choose from, here are a few that didn’t make our list this year…National Frog Legs Day, TV Dinner Day, Escargot Day, Eat Your Vegetables Day, Fruitcake Day and the ever popular National Scrapple Day.
Our November activity is always a catered Thanksgiving lunch provided by PRIER. We take the time for each person to tell what they are most thankful for. It is always emotional and reminds each and every one of us that we are so blessed to work for a company like PRIER that cares about its team members and believes that having fun at work is so important, that it is part of our Mission Statement.
Even though it didn’t make our list this year…please feel free to celebrate National Beer Lovers Day on September 7th and at my house we will celebrating National Men Make Dinner Day on November 1st and on however many more days I can talk my husband into it! I wish you all a very fun filled 2015!
